Who we are

The refined simplicity of La Volpaia and gracious hosts, Andrea and Silvia Taliaco provide an ideal carefree atmosphere for guests.

Andrea, architect devoted artist and sculptor, and Silvia very talented and extraordinary hostess, personally take care of their guests and excel in Tuscan hospitality.

They provide their guests maps and suggestions for interesting daily trips exploring Tuscan highlights and are glad to share their Tuscan experience, describing places and people and talking about the history of Tuscany and Italy.

Upon arrival Silvia, Andrea, and Penny (their very cubby lab) greeted us and made us feel apart of the family within 20 minutes. We were shown our rooms upstairs. Two very large bedrooms with our own bathrooms.
Help yourselves, help yourselves they wanted us to settle in and be comfortable. We took a walk around the property. Met their three horses
We put our feet in the infinity edge pool and admired the amazing view from the hillside. Something out of a magazine.
